A Child’s Place in Wayne, Pennsylvania has mastered the balance of delivering top-of-the-line childcare services across public school districts in the area including Centennial, Coatesville, Downingtown Area, Owen J. Roberts, Tredyffrin/Easttown, and West Chester Area School Districts, while also operating 3 early learning centers independently.
Understanding the financial trends that persist throughout the school year is vital to forecast spending areas, forecast revenue, and ensure that tuition rates accurately represent the needs of each family.
During my time as a Data Analyst Intern at A Child’s Place, I:
● Collaborated with finance and enrollment teams to audit and resolve discrepancies in client data, resulting in an improved accuracy rate in final records.
● Prepared weekly data summaries and reports for senior staff, supporting decision-making on client outreach and tuition adjustments.
● Balanced tuition rates and created visual projections for over 100 clients for the upcoming fall semester using Excel and Tableau, ensuring accurate billing and improved financial forecasting.
I’m excited to return to A Child’s Place to fulfill this role once again, this time utilizing my master’s degree expertise to optimize client experience and internal workflow.

During Summer 2023, I made the 6-hour flight to Dublin, Ireland, to take on the challenge of interning at a criminal defense solicitors’ office for 3 months. In a new place, across the ocean from my home and family, I worked, struggled, explored, flourished, and eventually began to call Dublin home.
As a solicitor intern in Ireland, I:
● Assisted solicitors in documentation of and communication with clients, in and out of custody.
● Engaged in Ireland’s Dublin Criminal District and Circuit Court hearings during profession’s busiest time of year.
● Established and maintained strong relationship with The Probation Service in Dublin and various Barrister Services to best assist clients through legal process.
Through this experience, I not only garnered professional experience in business administration through co-assisting in managing a solicitor’s office, I created lifelong connections and a broader understanding of the world. Living in Dublin made me a well-rounded, open-minded, and extremely adaptable individual. I will forever cherish my time there.

Indiana University Athletics’ Excellence Academy provides workshops and leadership opportunities for student-athletes to grow professionally in order to navigate a career after college athletics.
As a Hoosier Hero Mentor, I undertook first-year student-athletes to aid them in their transition from high school to college. From this, I learned how to be an active listener, and wanted to become more involved in leadership training.
As a member of IU’s Student Athlete Advisory Committee, I had access to leadership workshops such as the Elite Leaders workshop (pre-requisite: Emerging Leaders), where a selected few student-athlete participated in bi-weekly focus group meetings. Meetings discussed how to manage teams during periods of success and failure, how to communicate effectively with teammates and co-workers, and the different communication styles and motivators individuals possess.
Understanding and mastering the emotional intelligence that is required of leaders prepared me to step into leadership roles with Indiana University’s Field Hockey program and how to confidently communicate professional ideas and proposals.
Why Me?
I bring the focus of a student-athlete and the creativity of a modern marketer.
My background in competitive sports taught me how to perform under pressure, lead with purpose, and stay relentlessly results-driven. I apply these qualities to every marketing challenge.
